How to ask a good tarot question (with 15 examples)
By Clarity Crystal · Updated
Three rules for a useful question
- Make it about you. "How can I improve communication with my partner?" works better than "Does he still love me?"
- Keep it open. "What should I consider before…" invites guidance; "Will I…" invites a yes/no that tells you little.
- Stay focused. One situation per question.
Examples you can use

Questions to avoid
Questions about other people's private thoughts, exact dates, lottery numbers, medical outcomes or legal cases. A responsible reader will gently redirect these.
Frequently asked
Can I ask a yes/no question?
You can, but you'll get more from an open question. If you do ask yes/no, a good reader explains the reasons behind the answer.
